KURANDA ABORIGINAL COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER A Word from the Editors WELCOME all bama readers to the first edition of the Black Fella News. We hope you find it interesting and informative. If you have any ideas or feedback, please contact us on (07) 40937 117 or send to Black Fella News, PO Box 26, Kuranda, QLD, 4872. In this first edition the bama youth will be looking at various issues happening in the Kuranda commnity, including; Sports and Recreation, Community Updates, Health, Arts, Special Points of Interest, Memorials and Birthdays, Puzzles and Jokes. The newsletter is an attempt by the youth of the area to spread ther message to the community, no matter what it may be. For too long Aboriginal people have not had a voice in the mainstream media to tell their story - now we have our own voice! The Editors for this inaugural edition are: Jessica Simon, Desanka Brim, Shannon Duffin, Kylie Grogan and Patrice Wason. | More News | Music | About us | Pics | Links |
