Involvement of Aboriginal artists

As many of exhibition concepts come from Aboriginal art practise the involvement of artists in the development of this exhibition is vital.

The exhibition environment, multimedia installations and the individual exhibits will involve Aboriginal people and provide employment opportunities in collaboration with DEET and the Chamber of Commerce.

Interactivity

The hands-on nature of this exhibition is also important. Previously museums displayed items of Aboriginal culture as 'objects' in static display cabinets.

This exhibition aims to create an exciting and active exhibition environment by providing interactive experiences.

It will express Aboriginal knowledge as living and active.

People visiting the exhibition will find themselves on the inside not gazing at it from the outside and the experience will be both fun and challenging.
